Charlie Griak is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans film, illustration, and animation—unified by a focus on character, dynamic visuals, and emotional depth. His films—End of the Rope (2024), Nina of the Woods (2020), A Heart Like Water (2021), and The Center (2015)—demonstrate his ability to explore complex narratives, often centered around isolation, psychology, and interpersonal tension. The Center, his debut feature film, was presented by Jonathan Demme, who joined the project as executive producer after viewing a rough cut.

His most recent film, End of the Rope, a true-crime thriller based on a 1931 North Dakota murder investigation, was distributed by Saban Films and is now available digitally and on demand.

As a storyboard artist and illustrator, Charlie’s dynamic compositions and refined draftsmanship have made him a trusted collaborator for clients including Microsoft, Target, CNN, American Express, and National Geographic. His work is marked by expressive clarity, and technical precision.

Whether directing a feature, illustrating a portrait, or designing a visual sequence, Charlie brings a high level of craft, care, and narrative fluency to every project.
